About Me:  Terrance Jackson is the proud owner of TLC Photography located in Chester, Virginia.  I was born and raised in Melbourne, Florida.  At the age of 18, I joined the United States Army and was active duty for 10 years before returning to the civilian world.  While in the military I took advantage of the educational benefits and obtained my Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems/Database Administration.  I am avid animal lover and the proud father of one amazing fur baby named Coco.  Two  of my babies, Taz and Lenny, crossed the rainbow bridge at a young age, but their legacy lives on.  The TLC in the name of my company is for Taz, Lenny, and Coco.

Why did I get involved in photography?   In 2012, my life drastically changed when I was laid off from my full-time job.  In today’s economy, it’s really hard to get a job if you don’t know anyone.  In order to keep my sanity while looking for a job, I found peace in the art of photography.  The moment I first picked up a camera and held it in my hand, I knew I was meant to do it for the rest of my life.  It was then that I realized God had blessed me with the gift of seeing things in a way that most people don’t.  I started taking pictures every chance I could and soaked up all the knowledge from fellow photography enthusiasts. 

About My Work:  I specialize in wildlife, landscapes, airshows, weddings, graduations, and black & white photography.  I like to describe my photographs as nothing short of breath-taking, intriguing, dazzling, fun, inspiring, and classy. 

What Can You Expect From Me:   No matter what type of job I’m doing, you can be sure I am having fun in getting awesome images for my clients.  No job is too big or too small.  TLC Photography has the all the equipment and expertise to capture those special moments.
